If you guys need any I can create more and sell them to you. Although the light emitted will be slightly lower, they are more durable than the original lens (I might create a video demonstration later this week). Just let me know through email or private message.

I am also going to start designing a pair for the rear courtesy lights probably by next week so I’ll keep everyone updated on that. So far, I can only make and sell interior plastic parts for 1st gen Toronados (interior didn’t really change at all between 66-69). If it’s meant for the exterior and you plan on making it a showroom car, I would think that it’s a better option to buy an oem replacement because of the finish. If I did, I would only make those for the ‘69 and maybe the ‘68 (don’t have a reference for ‘66 and ‘67).

Hi ! That's great to see someone else using a 3d printer to restore our lovely Toronado

I have done the same for multiple parts, I was thinking we could do a new Topic in the parts section with our 3d creations.
So far I have done some small plastic parts, the back courtesy lens and a new support for a new radiator, the old one was too far gone and the original support did not fit and was too rusty...

In my opinion, 3d printers are a solution for rare/expensive parts, and will be used more and more by collectors.

And yes it's only plastic but if the part fit perfectly, you can send it to a website that will print in metal or whatever you want

Francois, on your brake booster vacuum valve, what did you do about the internal valve?

Hi Otto,
It's not finished yet, it will be in two parts with a round cut in a nitrile rubber sheet that will act as the one way valve.

Nice! That’s a lot of parts too haha. How do those rear courtesy lights look in your car? Do you have a picture of them by any chance? I think it’s a good idea to make a thread dedicated to 3D printing so we can let others know about it and maybe others can share their creations too.

Kinda took a while to do this because of school, but here it is. They are pretty tight when putting them on but they work nonetheless. Sucks that I accidentally broke one of the legs for the passenger side lens, but it’s not noticeable (I’ll fix it later).

The picture with the lens in the car was just a lighting test so that’s why it’s partially out.
