hood hinges and springs

1966 Toronado, since the hood stayed open for months now it doesnt want to close all the way
on the rear springs. Do I need new springs? Has anyone else had this happen. Is there some
repops of hinges and springs. Any suggestions?

Ok this is what I found as the hood stayed open for a long time the weight on the front adjustment bolts made it migrate all the way down in the adjustment which contrary to thought
raises the back of the hood. Once I raised the front bolts the hood closed all the way.
Apparently it has to travel over a center to close.

All fixed !!!
