Anyone know what this option code is?
Thanks,
Greg
Option Code 5Y
Re: Option Code 5Y
If it is on the body plate, I believe the Y is deluxe seatbelts (5 just represents the option group). I'm sure I'll be corrected if wrong.

Thanks tadmin, Yes, it's on the body plate. What's the difference in standard belts and deluxe belts? My Toro is a "Standard Interior " car.

Do you have a shoulder strap? My deluxe only has lap-belts.

Re: Option Code 5Y
This description is from Camaro.org and should be the same based upon the photo on the site (it's better than me trying to explain ):
Site reference: http://www.camaros.org/seatbelt.shtml
There were 2 basic seat belt styles – standard and deluxe. The standard belts used a plastic buckle cover that matched the belt color; the deluxe belts had a brushed steel buckle cover. The standard belt was the default belt on both standard and custom interiors. The deluxe belt was a separate option that could be added to either standard or custom interiors. The color of the belts was selected by the factory as a function of the interior color of the car. A tag attached to the belt identifies the belt's usage, date of manufacture, and manufacturer.

Re: Option Code 5Y
This could be right Mike. Mine does have the brushed steel buckle covers. It's odd, I have a pretty low optioned car, but it does have the factory head rest option, which seems rarer than the deluxe seat belts. I'm surprised they put the seatbelt code on the trim tag but not the head rest code.

Ahh, I've got the brushed clips as well... Neat! I don't even remember seeing that in the options sheet.
