I currently have a semi-truckload of 1966 and 1967
Toronado parts of all kinds. I estimate 80% are 1966
and 20% are 1967. I don’t have an inventory list of
all I have, and it would be exhausting to prepare one.
But I have multiples of all parts – soft, mechanical,
interior, and exterior.
Here is a partial list:
Many bumpers – both take-off and restored/
rechromed by professionals. Over 100 wheels,
chrome and painted, ‘66 and ‘67. Several radios
from AM-only to signal-seeking AM/FM. Temp
control units, ventilation-only to auto-temp control.
Tons of hubcaps, '66 and ‘67. Original short blocks
(good, useable). Several sets of engine heads, rebuilt
with hardened seats. Windshields, rear glass, and
three sets of complete doors with glass and electrics.
Several gas tanks. Many hoods (usable with springs).
Twenty headlight units. Several grilles and rear
panels (below trunk). At least 25 original Quadrajet
carbs. NOS and NORS brake shoes, master
cylinders, wheel cylinders, ‘67 calipers. Several
dual-snorkel air cleaners. Many original radiators.
Back-up lights and exhaust tips.
I have no intention of selling one piece at a time. I
am old and retired and can’t deal with spending my
remaining time trying to mail a bumper or a radio.
I think the collection is worth at least $100K, and
I probably have invested two or three times that. It
is my hope that several members of the club might
go together and purchase the entire thing. If there
is a club member who lives not far from Scottsbluff,
Nebraska, I would be happy to spend whatever time
he has to review the complete collection and share
his findings to the club members. Again, I cannot
sell one piece at a time. I’d like nothing better than
to get this stuff back into circulation and get more
Toronados restored. Members seriously interested
