Are Michelin tires from 4wheelonline perfect for 1966 Toronado?

Post a link to the tires you're talking about. Perfect is a subjective description.

Michelein tires are usually very high quality. I use them on my pickup truck. If the ones you want for your Toronado are the right size, you probably can't go wrong with them.

White stripe tires in 235/75/15 are becoming harder and harder to find.

I just purchased a set of Cooper Trendsetters for my car. Hankook has discontinued the Optimo in that size with the white stripe.

They still offer a white stripe on the Kinergy. Nexen offers a white stripe as well. The only other options I'm aware of are from Coker and Diamondback which will set you back $200-$300 per tire as opposed to the Coopers which cost me less than $100 each.

These tires handle great.

I have two complaints:

1. They only have a 40,000 mile warranty compared to 80,000 miles on Michelin blackwalls.
2. The white stripe is placed about 1 inch closer to the bead than it was on the Firestone tires I had on it before. This makes the OD of the whitewall 19" instead of 20" and makes the tire look a lot larger.
