so break for two weeks... we fly to Tajikistan to work a little for a one help-organisation, there are not toronado´s but a lot of offroad-cars :o

now I have a lot time to rebuild my carburator,
by the way I found this thing with twoo cabels on the picture... do I need it? and this metal rod to the carburator?
what´s that? - cruise control ? :shock:
can I put it down?

Jelonek,

Yes, you need it. That is the downshift rod that operates the switch pitch transmission. The switch for it is the one in your photo. Is the rod connected to its lever?

Is that your Mercedes back there?

As Bruce mentioned, is your battery on a tender/maintainer?
