Hi,
I purchased my 1966 Toronado last November from a club member up North. It is in excellent condition with a few minor issues and one big one (transmission) recently posted on Tech forum board.
I am 73 and live in Culpeper, Va. I have owned an auto restoration business for almost 40 years and retired when I turned 70 leaving the 75,000sf business to my partner (Classic Car Center, Fredericksburg, VA). I love classic cars and pre-war mahogany boats. When driving the Toro, what I hear most often is "What a beautiful car! What is it!"
If only they knew!!
Thanks,
Garland Gentry

Garland, are those your other cars?
The black one looks like a Packard or possibly a Buick?

I presume you're referring to the 66 ? Or one of the Gen III / Gen IV?

I've had people think my '66 is a Thunderbird or, if they glance at the script, a Torino.
Everyone loves it, though.

Yeah, my favorites vary between the 66 and the 67. I like the front grill on the 66, but there are some refinements on the 67 that would be nice to have. No matter what, it is one of the coolest cars ever.
