Hallo Mikel
In my case i have broken only a heater core but not Aircondition
It was necessary to put down only the part where the heater core is located, the left side only (driver side). The second picture is not mine but you can see.... that the right side where the air condition is located has six screws i think it's possible to put it down without to remove the fender but this is a very very difficult , probably you get a problem with two screws on the right side of the Ventilatorengine but if your fingers are not to big perhaps you can fill it and blind work....in my opinion if you can put it down it's much more difficult to put it again inside
but if you have a little bit time ... It is a big fun

TH425 is the front wheel drive version of the TH400. So TH425.

Re: Hello from Germany!
I don't know about the number , but the Quadrajet is the correct carb for your car. Does yours have a mechanical linkage for the air valve or does it rely on air pressure like mine?
The early ones open when the air pressure drops inside the carb at high speed.
Daytona Parts Co. rebuilt mine. It turned out to be from a rebuilt one for a 300cid engine and had the wrong valves in it. They rebuilt it it to factory spec and it made a lot of difference. If you need a rebuild, I highly recommend them even though you're in Germany.
They've done 4 or 5 carburetors for me and all of them come out of the box pre-adjusted and ready to go.
Call and talk to Tim Hewitt if you have questions. He's willing to help with advice and instruction even if he isn't rebuilding your carburetor. He can probably tell you if that number is the correct one for the '66 Toro.
They also sell complete kits if you want to try it yourself.
