Good day folks! Awesome forum ......great to be a member!
My father and I are working on a 1966 Toro project. This car has been in the family for about 45 years now and we are looking for some info to get started.
We had an engine fire on this car about 3 years ago and the vacuum lines took a serious beating. We have an original shop manual with a vacuum line routing image however ours appears to be different as it has a AiR pump (Cali car).....many of the lines don't follow the same route. We have to replace quite a few of them.
If any of you have a 66 California Toronado with air conditioning, would it be possible to get some photos of your underhood or something? Any info at all would help honestly.
Cheers!

I have a 66 toronado from california -- with AIR system but no ac -- I put a video of it on youtube if you search on 1966 toronado or my name Dupper I think you will find it towards the end it was some good shots of the engine bay.

I saw that one! Really cool that's you.....
I thought you said during the video that it wasn't a California car......guess i misheard you.
Looks almost identical to our toronado, same colour and everything except ours has AC.

You can get an Olds "E" body Product Information Manual reprint from Lynn Davis that has EVERYTHING shown in great detail. $65 shipping included.
It is an excellent information source used in the factory. He can be contacted at ildavis1990@gmail.com
You will not be disappointed

Excellent example you have there. I will be using this video for reference for sure.
If you have a few spare minutes sometime, could you take a few detailed snaps of your underhood and email them to me if possible? My email is ourkid2000@gmail.com. Nothing beats good photos to work from.
I certainly don't expect you to do this but if you think of it sometime, it sure would help us.
Thanks again!
