69 Fuel line

Hey, that rhymes, go figure!

When I got my '69 the fuel line was all over the place, and bracketed to the outside of the rear frame rail. Don't like that. So, I wanted to run the fuel line like it was originally, which looks like it goes through the inside of the rear frame rail, passenger side the emerges underneath the door. Only trouble is, can't feed the hoses all the way around the bend. Anyone have a secret to this without cutting holes?

Thanks!

I had a somewhat similar problem when I replaced the lines for my EFI upgrade. I inadvertenly pulled the original hose out of the front frame section before the follower hose came through as they seperated. I ended up using a cable fish which is somewhat stiff yet flexible. I was able to guide it through the frame and get it out the other end whereupon I securely affixed the hose to the snake and pulled it back through.

Here is an example of what I used from Harbor Freight:

X - That idea worked great. Still took a couple of hours to get both lines through, there must be a compression point within the frame, but it worked and I'm happy and relieved. Thanks!
