hi guys,

i'm planning to completly overhaul the vacuum system on my toro (cruise control, brake booster and every other hose coming out of the intake manifold)

i got the manual with the vacuum hose routing..thats not the problem..but i cant find the sizes i need to use...like the diameter...the length is not that important...but the diameter is. so do u guys have any idea..or something like an overview?

i'm many miles away from my car..so i cant meassure myself...but i need to order them quickly.

thy and bye

Any auto supply, NAPA, etc. will have the correct sizes. Take a sample of each with you. There are only about 3 different sizes.

I found 1/8" and 3/16" hoses mostly on my car. There are a few larger such as the brake booster, and they are standard fuel line size. 3/8" I think, but might be 5/16".

Since line is cheap, buy 25 feet of each and you will have plenty.

I have been buying Gates rolls on line from Amazon. My NAPA wanted to charge
me the one foot price for whole rolls, I said no thanks.

There seems to be a trend to cheat on hose materials, making them slightly
undersize. Bruce Roe
