'66 wheel centers on '67/68 wheels?

Postby Twilight Fenrir » Tue May 31, 2011 4:57 pm

I'm about to buy a set of disc brake wheels for my '66, which I intend to convert the front to disc brakes on... as soon as I have a set of disc brake wheels :P

I notice the later years wheel centers appear to be larger... is this the case? I was really hoping I could just pop my '66 centers into the later years, and it would take a very discerning eye to notice the swap. I don't really care for the plain aluminum centers found on the later years...

66 caps will fit 67 70 disk brake rims but 66 rings or to wide to fit,use 67 and newer disk brake rim rings.
