Dual pot master cylinder upgrade?

Postby 66tomato » Sat Aug 12, 2023 4:52 pm

If I buy a dual pot master for a 67, can it be bolted right into my 66?

I'll need to plumb it correctly of course.

But I am wondering if it can be physically swapped in place of the single pot one.

I don't know the answer to that question but I will say that if you're brakes are working properly now, I'd leave them alone. With one exception, every vehicle I own has single res m/c. I have never had a problem and I've never owned a modern vehicle.

Make sure your brake system is in top shape and you won't have any trouble.
