Rollaway headlamps issue on a 90

Hello all,
Not too long after I got my car, my rollaway headlamp covers started getting stuck sometimes and making a lot of noise when they'd attempt to open and close. As per the service manual, I lubricated the moving parts and they do not get stuck anymore but they are still noisy when opening and closing. Any one else here have this experience and any advice on this noise?
