I recall that we used Riviera foam pads. My Dad, who was a trim specialist, sleuthed that out. If your upholstery is good its not that hard to take off the covers, replace the foam, and hog ring the cover back on. Also shouldn't be too expensive, maybe a day's time at a capable upholstery shop.

Thanks Otto, while these pics came in I found another box and just in the last hour figured out how all the interior goes together.
I've got two pieces that look like they had outside duty that still have me puzzling. I've attached a pic in case it turns on a light for you.
I realize now that my Dad, who was a bit of a trickster, left this car as a good puzzle for me. To let me know I can figure it all out by myself, but also for him to have a good chuckle up in Heaven. As was always my Dad's way, there will be real reward when I'm driving this beauty that he gifted to me.

Hopefully Tuco will read this post soon. He just finished restoring his car so he'll probably recognize those. I can't place them but my car has never been apart.
Does your car have cornering lights? Those resemble the lenses. Perhaps they're backing plates for the sockets or somethiong?

Those plates go under the grill on the rear deck. They keep water from running down the deck lid hinges.

Ha! I would never have guessed that. I 'm going to go out and look at my car now to see them.
