hi I'm trying to find out what this bracketed switch is for. it was just dangling off the engine and I'm not sure what it's for? is it a backup switch? I traced its wire back to this splice off this black switch. because its spliced in, im guessing its not an original part. alsi what is this black switch on the driver side by the air cleaner that it's spliced into? this is a 67 tornado engine. I've looked in the repair manual but can't seem to find it. the wiring diagram is super hard to read.

The square black switch with the lever on it in the second photo is the transmission kickdown switch. It should have a rod connecting it to the carburetor.

I don't know what the cylindrical thing is. My car doesn't have one.

That’s the passenger eject switch. In case of bad blind date.

Does the car have A/C? Possibly throttle solenoid. What is the wire spliced into? Where does it go?
