Another update: I replaced the fuse again and noticed that the wire to the rear view mirror map light sparked when I sat in the car. When I looked back at the fuse, it blew. So the problem was just a short circuit! Now I know why the previous owner left it disconnected...

I just wrapped electrical tape on the wire for the meantime and moved it as far away from the port as possible. Now I can enjoy the fresh air again!

Awesome! I love when a repair cost no money!

I don't know how much help, I was though.

FYI, what you are calling a relay is actually an automatic reset circuit breaker. Secondly, your fuse box should not be on the passenger side of the engine compartment. It should be located under the dash and above the headlight dimmer switch. If it is not, then someone has modified your car.

My bad, I didn’t double check what I typed in that earlier post. I meant the relays were located on the passenger side of the engine bay. Yeah the fuse box is definitely under the dash haha
