Thanks Willy. I hadn’t been able to find that number before. That helps.
Much appreciated Otto. Those pics help a lot!
I spoke to Tim Hewitt yesterday. Wow. That guy sure knows carbs! He said he had one there but wanted to put his hands on it and call me back. I’m gonna have to get a ski mask and make a “ withdrawal” at the bank to pay for it. But at least it should solve my problems.
Rock Auto shows one similar to yours, but the linkage arm is different and they don’t list the #. Can’t ever talk to anyone there for assistance either. I think I’ll wait to hear back from Tim.

Re: 66 WOT question
Yes, Tim is awesome.
I would not order the Rock Auto one. The photos they use are frequently generic so you don't always get a picture of the actual part. Also, carbs from general rebuilders are also often generic in that they'll install needle valves that work across model ranges rather than for your specific application.
My carburetor was probably an off the shelf rebuild from 30 or 40 years ago or so. It had the correct linkage so it worked on the Toro but it had 330 cid Olds needle valves. Tim straightened all that out.
When Daytona rebuilds a carburetor you just bolt it up and run. You will have to do little or no adjustments to it after installation. He runs all the carbs on a test engine.

You need to get the switch linkage working properly, or it will considerably
impact car performance. Then solenoids in the trans can be heard operating
at both ends of the throttle range, with just the ign turned on. Bruce Roe

Re: 66 WOT question
I spoke with Tim again today. Got the correct carb ordered. Fortunately they had a good core and are going to rebuild it for me. Said it would be a couple weeks. Ok. I’ve plenty to do in the mean time.
I found a divorced choke assembly on eBay for $85. It is a reman of the original. Has the correct number stamped on the cover. Once I pit the new carb on I should be ready to go.
Now to work on the front fenders.

Re: 66 WOT question
Thanks Bruce.
I plan to get the switch setup after I get the carb. My switch seems good in that it feels like its clicking on both ends of the travel.
I’ve got cruise on the car too but missing the linkage. Also noticed parts broken on the back side of the adjustment wheel behind the dash. I think I’m going to leave it inop since I’m sure that parts are going to be impossible to find and cost prohibitive. Just clean the unit and leave it for looks.
