Hello
Everyone I had my gas tank re condition inner and outer all the line were replaced

I had to use the original sending unit

The other day I might have over filled my gas tank
And parked it on a hill pointing up forwards
When I came back to the car there was a trail 8 feel long of gas on the ash fault
Looked like it was coming from the passenger side rear almost on top of the right exhaust tip
Anyone have any idea

The passenger side of the tank at the top is where the fuel line and vapor recovery line (ac models only) enters the tank. The vent pipe is also in this area at the top right front of the tank.

Do you have a factory service manual? There is a diagram of these connections in it.

My guess is over-filed and possibly fuel hose connection at tank might be leaking/loose. Pointing forward on a hill would put all the fuel in that particular area so any old gaskets, loose connections, etc would be submerged.

Overfilling combined with hot sunny day may also expand the fuel causing it to rise into the vent pipe and onto the ground.
