Hey Doc, regarding the color, I found that out after I already had them painted (3 years ago!) and just didn't bother doing them over.

Depending how the rest goes I may eventually get'em re-done but right now I have plenty to occupy my feeble fundage! :D

I'm gonna see it through even if it kills me ;)

The sad thing is that after I was already in deep I found another that was EXACTLY what I wanted and now I'm running out of dough! That not to mention the no vinyl top, platinum with blue stripes/interior GT I also have that DESERVES a fine restoration :(

So many Toronado's so little money, time, patience....

Forgot to put the rubber cover on the chain case so when I reboot next week I'll see if I can sneak it on without having to take the whole thing out again :oops:

Its hard to know what damage might occur if the converter isn't all the way
seated while you are bolting the engine to the trans, nearly an inch back from
the bell housing. You must have a freely turning converter with the engine
bolted; then you pull the converter forward a bit to get it up to the flex plate.

It slipped back when I was manipulating the package but I used a slightly longer bolt to pull it in as I went around, seems to be good. We'll see! :)
