Help Identifying a Green Wire

Postby wingo » Sat Jun 10, 2017 1:51 pm

Hi All,
Our 1967 Toronado is up and running!
Tagged and insured, I sure do like driving this car, its very powerful.
Lots of work to do still. But thanks to this site especially and the manual its happening.
I'm currently at the Comfortron.
Found a long green wire on a plug connector near the blower motor. I just don't see it in the manual.
Since I have no action at all, I connected this green wire directly to the battery and the blower motor spins!
My question is; does this wire connect to the Comforton selector on the dash or where?
Thanks for any direction here

It's the compressor wire! The PO installed after market tri gauges. The green and black wires currently at the compressor actually go to my temperature switch. Duh.
On this site I found a color wire diagram posted by Doc Hubler, Dec 2016.
Thank You Sir for posting that.
I should have bought the paper manual instead of the CD. ;)
