66 toro interior question

So I posted a video of my 66 toronado on youtube and one of the viewers asked a good question.

I believe my interior is original -- the car is zz frost green exterior and dark green interior -- and it is a deluxe model. The front seats are all vinyl and look like everyone else's toros. The back seats are a mix of fabric and vinyl -- just like the door inserts. So did Olds put all vinyl in the front and a mix of materials in the rear -- if you want to see what I am talking about search 66 toro dupper on youtube and you can view the vid. tx

I'm not an expert by any means but I'd have to say that the interior was changed. It's possible that it was a special order but I doubt it. Post a photo of your ID plate. Maybe there are some clues or as on Cadillacs, an SO indicating a special order option.

I'd be willing to bet that the front seat wore out and was replaced. The person who owned it probably couldn't locate the correct fabric and opted to replace the front seat with all vinyl instead of the vinyl/cloth combination.

As Otto suggested, you car originally had the green vinyl with cloth inserts on the seats. The fronts were worn out and replaced. Not sure what the D means after the trim code. A is with headrests and E is without headrests.
