67 Heater Hose Clamp Layout

Anybody know the correct heater hose clamp types and where they go for a 67? Fusick sells the clamp kit which has both spring type and screw clamp type. I'm thinking the spring clamps attach both ends of the bypass hose and both ends of the heater hose that connects the water pump to the long metal pipe over the passenger valve cover. I still have the original permanent- type clamps that attach the heater hoses to the heater core. Thanks

The diagram in the '66 manual shows the wire band/screw type on both ends of the upper and lower radiator hoses.

The diagrams show all the heater hoses with the single use wire kind that go on and off with the special pliers with a notch in them. I don't know what they're called.

Thanks Otto. My 67 manual shows the spring- type clamps for the heater hose from the core to the pipe. Section 1E-6, fig. 1E-13. I can't make out the clamps on the hose from the heater core to the heater valve from the picture although my car has the original crimp- type on the heater core end of this hose. The crimp- type clamp is like that used on the low pressure hose of the power steering (one time use only). My manual is a repro so maybe the pictures aren't as clear. For the heater hose and bypass hose on the water pump, fig. 6K-8 on page 6K-6 shows the spring type clamps for both hoses. Bottom line- the Fusick clamp kit doesn't match up to the 67 manual for the style of clamps- I'll call them next week to inquire.

You may do better to just source the clamps from places like Summit racing. How much was Fusick asking for his set?
