Hi people,
the turn switch of my 1970 Toronado make some trouble.
With headlights on, it is impossible to set a turn light. The fuse for the tail-light and turn lights burns immediately.
Without headlights there is no problem, .....or driving without turn lights.
We´ve tryed some possibilities and found that only the turn switch is the problem.
But now there is a bigger problem. It is not possible to buy a new turn switch for my car. @ Rockauto there are only switches for cars without tilt and telescopic steering wheels and cornering lights. but my toronado has both.
Is there anyone who had already this problem...... and a solution?
thanks for answering
best regards from germany

Toronado 1970 Turn Switch
My guess is that a standard switch would work, but no turn lights. Maybe combine parts from
them both to make what you really want. Bruce Roe

Re: Toronado 1970 Turn Switch
maybe your problem is coming from cornering ligts. Try to disconnect it and see if the problem still there...

I also have turn lights but they serve no practical purpose what so ever, its nice to have everything working but not when going cost you a lot of time and money.
