Rock Auto has them.

Interestingly they only list the upper one, which you need. Where did you buy the lower ones?

What's the difference between the two?

difference between upper and lower is the diameter and the length.

heres what i use as the lower bushing:

the thing with the rockauto part is..from the factory those bushings are not supposed to be sleeved. mine came off w/o any metal-sleeve, both upper and lower are full rubber bushings. the only sleeved-type bushing (i believe they call it spring eye bushing) is on the front of the leaf spring. the factory bushings didn't came with the inner sleeve for the bolt as well.

so my guess is...this is another fail from rockauto (had the same issue with a waterpump the other day)...or maybe i'm totally wrong since i'm a total rookie when it comes down to suspension and maybe it doesn't matter if you install that type of bushing instead of the factory type??

I'm going to go out and see what's on my car. Virtually everything on it is from the factory. I just replaced the original water pump yesterday (from Auto Zone, not Rock Auto)

Mine does look to be just a rubber bushing. The sleeve appears to be part of the shackle. Is that what you found yours to be?

There's a guy on this forum restoring his entire car with lots of pics. He can probably tell you what he used.

yes..but i would like to hear if it is ok to replace a full rubber bushing with one of the sleeved type.

steeleruber told me that their bushing is the correct replacement.

the steelrubber part is around 1-3/8" in diameter - factory is 1-5/8" :!:

The metal sleeved bushing is for the front of the spring which can bee seen on the diagram. The two on the shackle are just rubber and they are different sizes as previously stated. I have not been able to find the upper ones as new. I was able to bead blast a couple of old ones to a satisfactory state....still looking though.

These are just rubber; pretty sure I got mine from Steele Rubber, and yes, they were a PITA to change out. It took a lot of persuasion to get the new ones in. I little lubricant helped.

Here's a post I had a few years ago on the other Rubber replacement parts needed for the car. I think all of these came from Steele Rubber.
