My car was new 45 years ago so don't think I have that problem anymore.

Right. All my cars have Old Car Smell. Varnished gasoline... mmm, mmm good!

Try Fusick for assorted parts. Steele Rubber, Rubber The Right Way, and Soffseal for various rubber and plastic parts. You might have to make your own gaskets if nobody sells them.
