Can anyone tell me if a 1985 Olds Toro has disc brakes on al 4 wheels? Also, does anyone know the approx. curb weight? Thanks, Steve

Curb weight 3854...

Fron Wikipedia:
Independent rear suspension (designed by Cadillac engineers) was adopted for the new car, which helped to increase usable rear-seat and trunk space in the smaller body, as well as improved handling over previous Toronados with no sacrifice in ride quality. Rear disc brakes were optional.

Hopefully somebody can verify.

In 79 the rear discs were standard on Eldo, optional on Olds. Probably the same
in 85. I have had both, and found the rear discs were very troublesome, for no
performance gain (short of racing). Bruce Roe

Answering Old Post:

Both of my 1985 Broughams have F&R Discs.

Curb Weight with the 307 is purported to be 3726 lbs (1690 kg)... Quite light, actually... It gives the 1985 Toronado a better Thrust:Weight Ratio than My Roadmaster Wagon.

I find the 307 to be nice & torquie and surprisingly fuel efficient. The size of the Gen 3 is quite nice for In-Town operations, like parallel parking in the City's often far-to-dinky parking spaces.
