Windshield

Postby Covers » Sat Sep 03, 2011 8:52 am

Hello, I'm just new and live in the Netherlands and own a 1992 Toronado Trofeo with a heated windshield. Now there is a damaged area in the windshield and I wonder if there is somebody who can tell me where to purchase a new heated windshield. Was the Toronado the only model from GM that year with a heated windshield?

I don't have a line on a new windshield (heated), but I am in the same boat ... I need to replace my 1992 windshield. The auto-glass person came this morning, but the windshield reveal trim was not correct. Does anyone know where it might be acquired?

Hi there,

Did you ever find the correct window trim for your 92?

I have a crack in the windshield and need to replace it.

How will I know if the weather stripping they use to replace it is correct?

I know this post is WAY old, but in the end, the guy who replaced my windshield used a rubber seal. The old aluminum cover was beyond repair. In any event, it worked well.
