+121k miles - original engine
+good condition leather interior
+firm ride and handling package
+Bose sound system
Family owned since late 80s. Don't have the resources to bring it up to a better show car quality, and probably won't for some time. Would rather someone enjoy this car than have it parked most of the time. I also own an 89 and drive it daily, and a 78 which sits.
I think the rear struts need replacing, but other than that, the car feels tight and drives well.
I'm Portland area, middle of Michigan, between Lansing and Grand Rapids.

Yeah, thanks. It does have a unique sound for a car. I think the diesel is a really good engine as long as it is taken care of.

They're great engines, as long as they're taken care of. Don't have a whole lot of power, but very reliable if you know how to care for them. And stupendous fuel economy... can get 40+ mpg out of the little things.
All the horrible things you hear about the 5.7 diesels came out of the pre '81 engines... 81 and on have near bulletproof bottom-ends. The cyl heads, and bolts still provided a few problems untill their discontinuation. But, after the first 3 years, next to nobody bought anything labeled "diesel". Especially from GM.
If you were a bit closer, I'd make an offer. but that's just a bit too far of a drive for me. Once again, best of luck if you haven't already sold it.
