I had my fuel sending unit rebuilt by these folks for less than $150:

http://www.fuelsender.com/

The unit came back in excellent working order and for less than I could find anywhere else.

Am I to take it you used the folks I recommended above? If not, please let us know where you did send it.

Gecko, that's a spam bot. They post a line or two from previous posts. In this case, yours.

By the way everybody, this company no longer rebuilds sending units but does offer products that restorers might need.

Their sending unit guy has started his own company. Here's the email I got from them.

Unfortunately, we do not do this service any more. However, the technician that rebuilt these for us bought out the fuel sending unit business from SUR&R. He is still doing these and would welcome your call. You can get in touch with him at (330)-813-0117 and his name is Andy.

Thank you,

Matt
