Parting out '68 Toro - Seattle Area

Hey folks, I have a white '68 Toronado that I'm going to have to part with. The block is still in it, but the top end of the engine is taken off. Was running when garaged, but had low compression, so it will likely need new rings at the least. Parts I've had worked on listed below, everything else is standard. The body is in fair condition, it's basically a great car minus the engine.

Heads - Complete valve job and machine work, then painted blue, never reinstalled. - $400
Exhaust Manifolds - Machined to match the heads, painted black, never reinstalled. - $100
Valve Covers - Hot tanked and painted blue, never reinstalled. - $75
Carburetor - Rochester Quadrajet, rebuilt by carb shop, never reinstalled. - $150
Radiator - New core built by local shop, installed old side tanks to keep it "original", probably 5K miles on it. - $400

Most of this is heavy enough I would rather not ship it unless I have to, so if you're withing a couple hundred miles if Seattle maybe we can work out some delivery. Everything else is in fairly good condition, let me know what you need. If somebody local wants to take the whole package, obviously they'll get first consideration, and I would let the car go for $1200, not including the parts above. If you want it all, and all the above parts are still available, maybe $2k?. I've got more pictures if you're interested, just call or email.

Oh, and the 8-track works, but it's disconnected. I have a cd player installed under the front seats, with a remote control so nobody can see it :)

Give me a call if you have any questions,
Matthew - 425-286-3660

Did you notice that the original post is over two years old? I doubt he has anything left.
