All,
Not sure how to delete this For Sale posting, but I have received very little interest in what I thought was a great deal. But that's only if the buyer is okay with taking and storing/using/selling/tossing all the parts. I will post to ebay and Craig's List those items that I believe are valuable. If interested in buying anything separately, please let me know.
Thanks!

Hi John,
Wondering if you have an extra ash tray (front dash) plus the dash lighter?

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,
Here's a photo of the cigarette lighter selection. Let me know if any of that looks like what you need.

1 and 2 are lighters with a silver metal handle. I think they are from a non-Toronado Oldsmobile.
3 and 4 are lighters probably for in a door arm rest or inside an ashtray.
5 I believe is Toronado dash lighter knob, but it is broken off the original lighter. It has some masking tape residue on it.
6 and 7 are lighter sockets with bezels.
I am guessing 6 is from another Oldsmobile model.
7's bezel is has been pushed down and is crooked. It may be repairable.
8 is lighter socket outer jacket. It screws over a lighter socket (6 or 7).

I am starting to pare down my inventory by selling upon request and throwing out some items. Into the trash went a foam seal (probably from the trunk), the manifold drip pan, some air dam pieces that go underneath the front, remainder of wheel well trim.

I wish to thank John for his act of kindness.

I know you wanted to sell the entire lot of parts to a single buyer. Thank you for selling me the one item that I really needed.

Merry Christmas,

You're Welcome Dave. Glad you like the part! And enjoyed the pictures.

I have some more claimed and hope to mail out soon and then post them sold. Much of this stuff I was saving to use on my car rebuild which did not happen, and so all the effort I've put into saving/storing/moving, etc., I hope pays off for other Toronado enthusiasts.

All, contact me if you are looking for something on the list.

Merry Christmas,
Thanks,

All,
I am going to call a salvage yard Monday to take what is left. I've only sold a few items. Some parts I will keep to sell on ebay. Some I will keep because they are small and easy to store or because they are cool. But the big heavy items, I definitely am getting rid of. I know there isn't much of a market for some items, but considering how hard it is to find something when you need it, I've kept them for all these years for me or someone else - Stuff like the HVAC framework, fuel delivery mechanisms, air cleaner, radiator, etc.

For instance, years back, I tried selling the C-shaped bracket that goes around the headlamp door vacuum actuator, but it didn't sell, so I just removed the bushings and will let the rest of it go. If anyone wants the bushings, you can have them really cheap. I think it would be hard to find replacements.

I may make a new post with a downsized list.

Thanks,
John
