The salvage company isn't wasting any time listing my Toronado. If any of you need any '66 only parts, this might help you.
Rear bumper is perfect, newly rechromed
Front bumper is original chrome, not bent or damaged
Fuel tank is perfect, no rust
Engine ran while car burned. Engine was not cause of fire.
Q Jet with one year only Toro linkage, etc
Perfect rear light panel
Trunk lid is perfect - only a handful of cars made with a center crease
Original jack, hold downs, parts, spare stuff, etc
Five new tires, spare has never been on the road - install a couple weeks before it burned
Hubcaps and beauty rings are perfect
Fenders and rocker trim are perfect
Wheel opening stainless trim is perfect
Transmission worked perfectly before fire
Radiator perfect
Grill is perfect

Seems they want to sell it as one piece. I would be with interest at the complete rims/wheels with chrome trim and/or the rear panel.
But that price is too much for me.

Don't pay any attention to that. That's what Hagerty told them it was worth before the fire. When it comes up for auction it will probably go for under $1000.
