1966 Toronado Parting Out

Postby majordan » Wed Aug 12, 2015 8:34 pm

Alotta excellent parts available. Perfect primed rust-free fenders, nice black interior, MINT rechromed bumpers, engine and tranny run like new.

Dash pads are shot - as usual. Good for cores.

The trunk is in primer with a SPOILER on it. Appears to be vintage and looks factory. Does such a thing exist???

The following parts are SOLD:
Steering column and wheel
Windshield
Vacuum Actuators

These first generation Toronados are one of the most unappreciated collector cars of the 1960's. Nice cars are still cheap, parts cars are even cheaper. I'm restoring a 1966 Toro and came across a very restorable, solid, parts car
the restorer had given up on. It was cheaper for me to buy the whole car than just the parts I needed.

Let me know what you need. The fenders are off the car and PERFECT, the bumpers are rechromed and show ready.

Bumpers are good and driver quality as is - I'd rechrome them, but I'm anal.
In fact, I have 2 extra sets of bumpers come to think about it.

Exhaust tips - I will check. More than likely I have em.

Courtesy Lamp lenses - broken to pieces. Dash pads and interior lenses are all brittle and broken. Fusick makes repops $$$$$.

Panel Around Tail Lights - Not so Good, but fair driver quality that could be cleaned up.

Comfortron - Don't have.

**** Mint Bumpers are SOLD****

**** Engine and Trans are SOLD ****

Fenders and Interior are on EBAY.

Hello. I would be interested in the headlight vacuum check valve and the horn relay if they are available and in working order. Thanks.
