Howdy all,
Anybody have a source for power steering hoses? My 68 has the power steering cooler. I initial ordered one from USA parts but it was incorrect as it is for none power steering cooler vehicle.

Re: Power steering hose
I just got both pressure and return lines for my 67 at Federated Auto. He had to look it up in a book AND I had to use my tube bender where it hooks up on the pump to clear but it will work fine.

Re: Power steering hose
I'm pretty sure that the Omega brand #535 will work for the pressure side.

Thanks...Weird though I checkout the Omega site and they list 5073. Do you think the listing 5073 is incorrect?

Re: Power steering hose
The number I posted was from some time back and what I got did fit though it was not exactly like the stock one. Let me take a look to see if the box says anything different than the order form and I'll get back with you.

Right on! Thanks 1970w34!
How about this one: Are the heater hoses moulded? I'm referring specifically to the rear hose that runs from the heater to the thermostat vacuum control that is mounted on the rear of the engine. I believe it is used to control the coolant flow from the engine block to heater core.
I tried a regular hose and found it wants to collapse.

Re: Power steering hose
Hey Chazz, I checked the box and it says 535 on it, no other numbers. As I stated though, that was from a few years back--maybe the numbers have changed? Hope that helps
