I was rear ended on the Atlanta connector this morning. I need a left taillight lens or the entire assembly. This should include the chrome strips but I'll consider whatever is available.

Also looks like I'll need a good rear bumper.

In this case I don't think so. There were a bunch of wrecks on the downtown connector this morning. People were just slamming on brakes all over the place.

Heavier than usual traffic in the northbound lanes (that I was in) resulted from an incident that occurred a couple hours before my wreck.

Some crazy guy in an ambulance started fighting with the paramedics, broke out of his restraints, ran across 5 lanes of traffic, jumped the barrier and was creamed by two vehicles. This resulted in some wrecks and a closure of all lanes while the mess was cleaned up.

By the time I showed up, all that extra traffic that was held up had been turned loose. I ended up in the middle of it all and everybody was driving like bigger idiots than they normally do.

Sorry to hear about all that. Atlanta traffic is a bear....always.

I think I may have a rear bumper you can use. It's off a 67. On the other hand, you're could be repaired I think. Or did you find one yet?

Hi Doc, thanks. I had my old one pressed back into shape and rechromed. I just got it back last week. Hopefully I can get the car to the body shop next week. I got the taillight assembly from Dorcey.

The bumper looks so good I sort of wish I'd sprung for the $1100 to have the front one rechromed to match.
