Full Trofeo option with FE3 suspension and only 35.000 Miles from first owner. A GI left it at Pforzheim/Germany when he go home to the states. It stored 10 years at a local scrapper and nobody wants it. The Toronado is not a popular american car in Europe. I bought it for only 800 bucks. I had some trouble with the transmission and ignition but fixed it with time.

A actual little problem is the non working ilumination at console and radio/AC modules. Also no diming of instrumental lights. Maybe a defective diming switch.
Do anyone knows where I get a new one ?

Rock Auto lists over a dozen from various manufacturers. (brand new)

Whatever you do, don't buy Airtex brand.

Hi folks,

my restoration is still in the middle of nowhere and the list of missing parts is growing.

1. The RockAuto dimming switches are not the right stuff for Toronado/Trofeo. It is a part of the complete light switch and cannot demount. The light switch has to replace if it is death.

2. Problem was not the light/dimming switch. It was the defect photocell ! Pull the photocell and everything works - but no more illumination at day/night...
