Hello from Iowa

Postby (old)sman » Wed Sep 02, 2009 6:13 pm

My name is Frank and I have 3 1977 Toronado XS's I bought the first one in 08, did some work on it and drove it to the Dearborn Nationals. After our fall cruise in Oct, It's going into the body shop to fix the Minnesota rust, which is why I have 2 donor cars.

Welcome Frank! You have great taste in cars! Love the 77XS. You should post a picture if you have any.

There are two ways to do it... if an image is on a public web server (Flickr, for example), you can use the Img tags located at the top of the post message box. Just open the image in the service, copy the URL and past it between the Img tagsImage

The picture code looks like this:

Code: Select all

[img]http://www.justmike.us/coppermine/albums/userpics/10001/normal_IMGP0896.jpg[/img]

Or you can add it as an attachment if it is only on your computer to your post. This is located below the message box and has a Filename box with a browse button to the right. Just click browse, select your image, and add it.

Let me know if you have problems.

I'm not very techno-geeky, I guess I'll need a step by step tutorial on posting images. I have pics of my car on Kodak easy share, I just don't know how to get them here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Frank

On behalf of the old farts that type with one finger, we thank you for any help you can give us- take your time, this is not a 911. Thanks, Frank

I posted a quick tutorial in the New Members forum - http://www.toronado.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=84

If it needs to be more detailed or have screen captures, let me know. I just wanted to get something up for you :)
