Hello everyone, i'm Steven, i'm 17 and now a proud owner of a 1988 Olds Toronado Trofeo! It needs some work though, such as my dash an interior light problem (posted about it in the technical forum), new tires, sun roof rubber seal, paint job, new carpet, flush out the radiator, new oxygen sensor, and a few other minor things. But after all that it will be worth it. Cause it is a very beautiful and fast car :D

Hello, Steven...welcome! You have excellent taste in cars. Best of luck with your '88...you should post some pics. I also got my first Toro at age 17...a 1967 deluxe. It was 12 years old at the time. Nothing else would do! Best regards. Greg Case

You are soooo lucky to have a 67 Toro as your first car! I would love to have that. You rarely ever see any Toronados any year on the road anymore

All I can say is good luck :P

My first car was an '89 Trofeo with the VIC touchscreen option... Loved it, but it was a nightmare to maintain... Parts always cost $250 no matter what it was it needed... '88s are a bit simpler though, so maybe you won't have quite the hard time I did. The 89 was between generations, most of the parts in it HAD to be from an 89 toronado. 88, lacking the touchscreen, has much more common parts I would assume.
