I looked at that one last weekend. Black on Black with a really moldy interior - $4500. Think I'd rather find a 66 with a better color combo.
But, thanks for the reference!
I'm looking at cars all over the country, the limiting factor being cost of shipping combined with cost of the car.

I do have a friend in Wisconson that has a real nice 66 from Florida for sale here are some pictures (the crusty looking one is a 67 parts car.

- Years Owned: My first Toronado was a 1968 W-34 with the bucket seats and center console... (weeps gently) It was a New England rustbucket in 1982 after less than 14 years. So sad. But it is what infected me and before I knew it I had another '68, a '69, a '70 and eventually inherited a friend's '67 and another friends '73. After buying my brand new Grand Prix in 1988 I retired the last of my Toronados and pulled the 455 I had rebuilt along the way and put it into storage in a friend's barn where it is to this day.
In Mid September of 2010 I happened to see a repeat of the show where Jay Leno did his 66 Toronado and had an instant remission of the disease which resulted in my purchase of a 1969 in very good condition. I am now in the process of fully rehabilitating it and hope to have it on the road in the spring of 2011. - Location: Gig Harbor, WA

I originally hail from New England and my advice to you is to look elsewhere for these cars. The New England winters were very hard on these cars due to the hybrid frame design; I had several of them back in the early to mid '80s and even then they were New England Rustbuckets - one, in fact, was a rare 1968 w-34 with bucket seats and a console shifter 
that unfortunately was in terrible shape due to salt.
If you can cast your net wider there are many good values in the west and southwest where there is much less of this issue.

Hi there, Im from western MA. When i decided to get another toro i looked to AZ to get mine. Not too much in this area that are in great shape. Happy hunting!

New Hampshire here, in the process of restoring a "66", nice shape, bought it here but it came up from Florida. there arer a couple in the area, I have been watching a local one. Guy won't sell it, still it sits in his driveway rotting away.

1968 W-34 Toronado (totaled 3/9/03), blue, owned since August 1994
1968 W-34 Torondo, gold, loaded with many rare options, owned since 2003
1968 W-34 Toronado, red, bought in Nov/Dec of 2005, Was Lot#609 for Barrett-Jackson auction, March of 2005 . Firdst two "owners", was GM employees. I'm still in contact with Bob B. (OLds Zone Rep for North CArolina, retired 1992).
I aslos have a white 1985 Buick Riveria, that I would like to trade for another Toronado, or an old Ford pick-up truck. - Location: Sebago,Maine

Was that 68 W-34 blue by any chance? I knew of a guy (use to live in Newmarket,NH) that took a wrecked blue 68 W-34 and used the motor in a 1955 Olds Super 88.
As far as I know there is five 68 W-34s in New England.

I live in Maine, but I also belong to the GMO Chapter(Greater Mass Oldsmobile) was well.
