The New Guy
Hello there everyone. Just bought a 66 Deluxe in Autumn Bronze. This is my second 66, my first I purchased in 1995 when I was 14. It was my first car and loved it for several years. Unfortunately that car was wrecked and was pretty totaled. For several years I looked for a replacement but couldn't make it happen. I fell into a 69 Camaro and kind of let the Toronado go. Fast forward 15 years and this Toronado just falls into my lap, same color as my first and everything. Needless to say I'm excited. Looking forward to discussing and getting help from you fine people.

That's awesome. It looks like it's in nice shape and not really a project. Where did it come from/where do you live?
I too have a '66 that I wasn't looking for and also fell into my lap. It belonged to a friend who acquired it in an auction lot of 5 cars. He only wanted 3 of the 5. He practically gave it to me when I saw it in his garage and commented on the color.

I spoke too soon on not being a project. Lights being up and not on means you've got work to do.
There's a thread on here where a guy made new vacuum parts for his canisters. The plans are posted. Hopefully you just have a vacuum leaks or incorrectly routed lines.
