How can we do this, i’m into paypal but i can also do mobilepay. How much you
need for them to ship overseas, Finland Europe. I maknöy need the engine front
brackets, and i acquired the regular rubbermounts from rockauto.

We should probably handle this by email, send me your address so I can
calculate shipping, meantime I will see about emailing you a picture of
the 79 front engine mounts. Bruce Roe USA

You will find, you will need all those parts to put an Olds small block into
your previous diesel car. Bruce Roe

Looks OK so far, maybe a 70-73 Olds 350? The front supports and rubber mounts
should line up with the frame holes, I think I got the engine bolted to the trans
first, and then inserted the front rubber mounts to drop into the frame. The oil
filter mount can have tubes running to your diesel radiator, or just bypass. It uses
the small dia filter.

Do not know what you are going to do about accessories. That engine used the old
A6 compressor, but the 79 used an R4 which will (barely) clear 5 bolt valve covers,
the older 10 bolt are a bit too tall. The exhaust manifolds were unique to front drivers,
they changed between 79-85. You will need an internally regulated alternator to
match up the wiring, there may have been a plug in wiring harness for the diesel
glow plugs. You will need a ballast resistor if you want to use that points ignition, I
would just get a much superior HEI. Someone will sell you the proper starter.
good luck, Bruce Roe

everything is open with the future; car has had stock a/c originally so it would be ”cooool” but in our moderately cold climate (like northern canada or so) definately not a must.
i have found correct manifolds so thats ok; pipes need adjusring since the car had a chevy sb earlier on- some pipe bending to do...
i am just tinkering it together and see what end result will be. Thanks to Your help i now see light at the end of the tunnel!
