Hi, I'm new to the site and only a young one at 23. But i have some good and bad news.
The good- I found a 1968 W-34.
The bad- its got a few rust holes.
The good- it still runs (though the belts need to be replaced)
The bad- It's no longer in USA. It has now moved to its new home in Australia (1 of 2 now over here)
There is a whole list of good and bad but i won't go into detail. Though the W-34 does have the chrome wheel option(the chrome wheel hubcaps or covers or whatever you want to call them) and the spare wheel seems to be the original wheel that came with the vehicle (from the factory) well it's what someone told me. It sat in Arizona since 1978-79 it's just sat there. paint is sun baked and the interior is in a real bad way. But I'm slowly starting work on it, just have to work around the funding issue. The vehicle has a few decent/bad rust parts, near the accelerator peddle and where the battery was. most of it is surface rust though. Thankfully.
I was going to upload some pictures but my computer is refusing to let me so i will try add some later during the week. If i have time. The W-34 was silver with what seems to be a blue and white interior. It has bench seats with a column shift and had the OM stamp on the trans.
Anyway just thought i'd let you all know there are a few still out there.

Hi Jono -
the club can be of great assistance in your restoration.
We would be interested in having the VIN, as we document all Toros and there is a special interest inn W34s. You can send photos to jgiliberti@gmail.com

Hello Jono...thanks for posting your message. It is GREAT to hear from the younger folks who appreciate the significance of these beautiful cars, and who are willing to protect and preserve them. You indeed have something special with the 'W'. Would love to see pics when you can. Best of luck with your restoration...we Toro fans thank you !!!
