From 1964-1967, a 45° cam bank angle was used. Some, repeat some, 1966 to 1967 Toronado, Starfire and 442 engines used the 39° cam bank angle. 1967 330s used a 39° cam bank angle. Thus problems with camshaft interchangeability. The few 1966 and 1967 400 and 425 39° cam bank angle blocks and 1967 330 blocks used larger diameter 0.921" lifters as well. All others used the 0.842" diameter lifters.
So this makes it hard to be sure. If you can somehow identify which bank angle you have you should be able to find a solution to it.
