Man, that’s a good price! I might do that myself, just need to find someone to repair the rust and I need to finish the engine rebuild first haha.

Re: 1967 DeLuxe Resto
Some questions about the sunroof? Yes it is DIY and no, never series. The influence was the brochure from Fitch Automotive. They made some special sunroof Toros in the late 60th.
Would be better to make this before painting
But the idea comes too late:
This was a used electric sliding glass sunroof from a 1991 Buick Park Avenue. I cut off the complete roof area and stripped it down. Rain pan fitted under the Toronado roof as it was build for. The glass sliding roof is made by WEBASTO, electric motor by BOSCH. Drainage goes through four 10mm hoses into rear side window areas and engine bay. Roof console with switch is custom made with burgundy vinyl.
I love it!
Next project on my Toronado is a Trans Am like rear duckbill ...

It’s cool to see you making that car into a one-of-a-kind Toronado! It will definitely stand out! Sure it isn’t original, but what do I know? After all, I can’t say much either with my “ugly” bucket seats and wrong exhaust system right?

The Fitch Toro had a switch to manually activate the torque converter high stall. But
I developed an automatic electronic version that works much better. Bruce Roe

Sounds good.
Did you rebuild the engine and/or transmission? I don't remember.

No Otto, engine untouched. Some minor settings there - carb cleaned and a new distributor, new filter/oil on engine and transmission. With engine cold, it exhaused little blue. But thats all.
