Gone With The Wind
My two month 1966 Toronado was stolen and wrecked yesterday. Perp fled. Car may be available for parts. Insurance covers at least part of my loss. Sad, very sad.

OMG, I'm so very sorry. Unfortunately there are some folk in society who like destroy the dreams of others.

That is very unfortunate, hope nobody got hurt. Some things like that here have
been fatal. I wonder if the car really can not be fixed? I have taken more than
one so called totaled car and put it back together to be driven many more years
and miles. Did not ask the insurance company about it, no collision anyway.
After daughter wrecked her car in high school, she drove it all through college at
considerable distance.
If no fix, perhaps the drive train could be pulled. Some people want that switch
pitch transmission, and the GMC people want that 3.21:1 final drive.
The only way mine could be stolen is on a flat bed. The HEI is rigged so it will
not get out of a parking lot if I am not driving. good luck, Bruce Roe

Bruce,
Appreciate your comments. Not sure they apply to my situation. Haven't seen it since wrecked. Person driving stole the car. Left the car. Probably not injured. More to the story. No judgement yet as to the loss. The insured value covers my investment.

Well, I hope he gets caught. Lots of these ass wipes running around nowadays, stealing whatever they want. They try to pull that off in my neighborhood, and they'll know the true meaning of "lead lobotomy."
