'66 headlights - How fast

How fast do your '66 headlights go up? Mine have always taken about 7 seconds. Is this normal?

Hahaha! Ya, mine go up in 6 seconds.
The owners manual touts the hidden headlights which pop up "in a matter of seconds" or something like that. They probably weren't much faster than that brand new.
I'll have to look at the manual for the exact wording.

That's pretty much the same speed as mine, both up and down.
