Hello, after a long time I'm reporting back from contaminated Europe
I have changed the rear old leaf spring, now I have the "new" 4x version. The whole work was a bit difficult, many screws were very tight
(rusted). I also changed the horizontal shock absorbers. With the new 4x leaf springs you have to be careful, the attachment has to be adjusted, for me with 2 steel plates approx. 2cm thick, otherwise it is not stable enough and in Germany you do not get a technical examination with it (every 2 years mandatory). I show the problem in the pictures.
But ... there is a huge difference in driving!
... the old ones were really "tired". Now I can fly through any slope without problems. Attached is a picture from my last ride
what about the situation in US ??? Hotels, camping´s ... ist everything open? and what about your cars and project.
Now we have in D two friends, who make a copl. renovation from two 1966 Toronados - that really good !!
