so... today i finished the work.... and i´m very happy :D

heater core replacement ! how to do it :geek: Part1

you can everything do from engine site and without to put down the hood!!!

for small and older people: you need after that a medicine against a backpain! and musclepain  or better before the work

the aircondition and heater has a constraction of two parts, it is necessary to put down only the left one ( left - driver site !!!) -

1) screw off everything from above the Heater box (cables and heater valve) , but not the small vacum! - see pics
2) crew off the 6 screws of box, nr. 5 and 6 from underneath - sorry... first you think it don´t work but it is easy and possible :)
3) take of a box to the left site

That does look pretty easy. I'll have to do mine before next winter.

Is the Sikaflex a silicone type sealer like the type used on bath tubs and sinks?

sikaflex 521 uv is not a silikon... only a fluid-rubber, very stable and elastic, i use it in a home, car, everywhere, last time i repair with it my cv-rubber boots and it works perfect (i didn´t believe it... )....

Interesting. I wonder if it's available here in the USA?

Yes it is.
It's $30 + on Amazon and ebay for a 10 oz tube.

Fantastic photos! Were you able to remove the A/C / heater box with the fenders on?
