66 Seat Foam replacement

Postby Eric Voigt » Fri Nov 27, 2015 7:36 pm

My seat foam has turned to powder. Is anyone making replacement foam for the lower seat? Or am going to have to rely on the upholstery shop make new and "wing it"?

An upholsterer can make that for you without difficulty.

I bought mine from OPGI. But mine were for Strato-Bucket seats. Not sure about STrato-bench which I assume you have. THey did have a lot of stuff, and think they have Strato bench seat foam for 66-67 Riviera (they specialize in all thigns Chevelle/Camaro). THey didn't have anything for Oldsmobile per se, but did for 67 BUick Riviera, basically the same as the Toro. THey are year specific, and they had all the correct ones. THey also had the correct "chrome" plastic piping trim that goes around the rear and side of the seat backs. For 66-67, seat backs are metal, and have the lock button on the side.
